My fifth graders are competing in our district's Battle of the Books!
I vividly remember participating in this competition when I was their age and still (bitterly) remember how I lost a question for my time. I forgot "from" when giving the answer: "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler". Yup, that one word made a difference!
They're making teams of up to 4 students and between them will read all 8 novels.
